Low density polyethylene, also known as high pressure polyethylene (LDPE), is the lightest variety of polyethylene resin, which is milky, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, waxy particles with a dull surface. It has good softness, extensibility, electrical insulation, transparency, ease of processing and certain permeability. Its chemical stability is good, alkali resistance, resistance to general organic solvents.

High density polyethylene, referred to as HDPE, also known as low pressure polyethylene, is a kind of high crystallinity, non-polar surface is a certain degree of translucent. PE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals. The melting point of HDPE is 142℃ and the decomposition temperature is 300℃. The adjustable range of injection molding temperature is large. When injection molding, the general use temperature is 180℃- 230℃; Because it is an olefin plastic, it does not absorb water, and does not need to be dried during production, but for product quality, it can be dried at 60 ° C for 1hr to discharge floating water; The melt viscosity of polyethylene is large, the flow length ratio is small, the thin-walled products may lack glue, so the gate and the flow channel are relatively large; Products are easy to carry static electricity, the surface is easy to absorb angstrom. The shrinkage rate is 16‰. The overflow margin value is 0.05mm. High-density polyethylene is non-toxic, tasteless, odorless white particles, melting point is 130℃, the relative density is 0.946~0.976g/cm3, it has good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength, dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance is also good. Used for extruding packaging films, ropes, woven nets, fishing nets, water pipes, injection molding lower grade daily necessities and shells, non-load bearing components, plastic boxes, turnover boxes, extrusion blow molding containers, hollow products, bottles. Used for hollow molding products and blown film products such as food bags, grocery bags, fertilizer lining film and so on.
