Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shenyang Rubber Four has been a designated R & D and production enterprise of national defense rubber products, and is listed as a provincial AAA level scientific research unit, providing special rubber products for the army, navy and Air force, aerospace, communications satellites, nuclear industry and other fields, and is an advanced unit of national defense military production cooperation, and has been awarded the general order of The State Council and the Central Military Commission for many times. At the same time, it has also made outstanding contributions to the development of China's water conservancy, steel, petrochemical, construction machinery and coal industries.

In June 2014, the company moved to the new site, which covers an area of 306,400 square meters and a building area of 114,000 square meters.
